HydroPeptide Peptide Science & Clinical Skincare

HydroPeptide was founded in 2004 by a team of dermatologists, geneticists, and skincare researchers based in Washington State. The brand built its formulations around peptide research rather than a single hero ingredient, aiming for a broad, clinically grounded approach to skin aging.

At the center of the line is VLR Technology, HydroPeptide’s approach to peptide formulation. The name stands for variety, levels, and repetition: a wide range of peptide types, used at effective concentrations, applied consistently across a skincare routine. The full collection uses more than 60 different peptides, which support collagen structure and skin firmness.

Formulations also draw on additional actives. The Phyto-ADR Complex combines botanical extracts, including licorice root and bearberry, aimed at reducing environmental stress on skin and supporting natural collagen. Hyadisine, a hydration complex built on sodium hyaluronate and seaweed extract, is used across the moisturizer and serum lines. Products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde donors, and sulfates.

The range covers cleansers, serums, moisturizers, eye treatments, and masks, organized around specific concerns: fine lines, dullness, dryness, uneven tone, and sensitivity. Eye treatments and serums are formulated for layering within a routine, and the line is built to work as a full system rather than standalone products.

HydroPeptide positions its formulations around near-term texture and hydration improvements paired with longer-term firmness and fine-line results with continued use. Products are developed with input from dermatologists and go through testing ahead of launch. The brand is also used in professional treatment settings, including partnerships with aesthetic device makers.

For skincare built on peptide research and formulated without common irritant ingredients, HydroPeptide is a clinically driven option within the anti-aging category.
